Show-stopping Fashion Up Catwalk Shows at Mall of the Emirates

Exclusively Featuring Contemporary Spring/Summer Collections from the newly opened Fashion District

Dubai, UAE, 12 March 2014 – Mall of the Emirates’ contemporary new Fashion District is making its catwalk debut on March 13^th and 14^th with show-stopping looks from the brands’ spring/summer collections. Featuring a compilation of cosmopolitan styles from around the world, the Fashion Up runway show will be a VIP event held at 7pm and 9pm in the South Galleria of the mall. Brands from the newly opened Fashion District including Halston Heritage, Elie Tahari, Paule Ka, and Cocoon aren’t following the seasonal trend; they are setting it exclusively at Mall of the Emirates ( @MallofEmirates ).

“Following the successful launch of the Fashion District in February, we will build on the Fashion Up theme during our annual spring/summer campaign with an elite catwalk show. The dedicated fashion show is a way to showcase and introduce the new brands and retail stores that reside in the new Fashion District,” said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, Senior Director – Property Management, Shopping Malls for Majid Al Futtaim – Properties.

Throughout March, shoppers who spend AED 650 at any Fashion Store inside the mall will have the chance to win a brand new spring/summer wardrobe worth AED 250,000! Shoppers can double their chances of winning simply by shopping the minimum spend at any of the Fashion District outlets.

To help shoppers Fashion Up their wardrobe, Mall of the Emirates is preparing “The IT List” of the must-have spring/summer items. The monthly look-book will include 10-15 lifestyle and fashion items available at the mall.
