Well, a new video released by Christian Dior ( @Dior ) details just what exactly goes into making a custom gown—and not just any custom gown: a mini couture dress from spring/summer 1949. And the level of handiwork shown is rather astounding. Shot in the Atelier Dior Haute Couture in Paris, the short movie—not to mention the dress we see built from start to finish—is exquisite and absolutely mesmerizing. From pretty little flowers being cut out and shaped to the actual frock being constructed, see the magic being made in the fashion house’s Le Petit Théâtre Dior:
