‘CHIC OUTLET SHOPPING’ introduces Iconic Art Installations Inspired by World Travel


Chic Outlet Shopping, the Collection of luxury outlet Villages by Value Retail, has partnered with world-leading luggage maker Samsonite to create a series of eye-catching travel-themed art installations, which will be displayed in each of the nine Chic Outlet Shopping Villages in Europe throughout the summer.


Celebrated German sculptor Detlef Schulz will create the installations comprising nine sofas and five towers constructed from iconic pieces of Samsonite luggage. Each structure will be individually customized by a group of international artists curated by renowned art historian Tereza de Aruda.


This creative collaboration is just one of the events taking place as part of the Chic Outlet Shopping Villages’ summer ‘Globalista’ campaign – a celebration of the sophisticated world traveler who loves fashion and luxury shopping wherever they are in the world.
