The fashion and design industry eagerly await Pantone’s announcement of the “Color of the Year“. Today, the company revealed that their official selection for 2014 is Radiant Orchid a shade of fuchsia with a blend of purple and pink undertones.

Pantone predicts the color will be popular in fashion, beauty, and interior design in 2014, calling the hue a “modern and surprisingly versatile shade” that can be worn by both men and women.
