DIA-STYLE.COM's Rasha Khouri Talks Fashion & Business to KSA Students

This week online fashion entrepreneur Rasha Khouri shared her business experience and her professional journey with college students in Jeddah and Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Khouri launched DIA-style.com an e-commerce site, which focuses on the Middle East market. She is a pioneer in the world of online fashion in English/Arabic, and DIA-style.com her most recent venture, is the first site for the region to sell on-trend and on-season luxury fashion from global brands in both languages.

Khouri is also passionate about sharing her experiences as an entrepreneur in the fashion world with young women in the Middle East, and spoke in October at the Qatar International Business Women’s Forum in Doha.

On Monday 19 November, our very own Fashion Editor, Marriam Mossalli interviewed Khouri in front of students from the prestigious fashion faculty of Dar Al-Hekma College in Jeddah. Khouri spoke about her experiences as an entrepreneur in the fashion business.

The following day, Khouri addressed a group of invited female students from the Arts & Skills Institute at a private event in Harvey Nichols in Riyadh, under the patronage of HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, CEO of Alfa/Harvey Nichols Riyadh.

Of her visit, Khouri said, “I am thrilled to have met so many young, engaged and creative and business talents during my visit to The Kingdom.’


DIA CEO and founder Rasha Khouri spent her formative years traveling between New York, Paris, Beirut and London. Educated at Brown University, Sciences Po and INSEAD. She launched her career as an investment banker at JP Morgan in New York. From there, she merged her interest in fashion with finance as a luxury goods analyst with Merrill Lynch and UBS, in London.

2012 marked the launch of DIA-style.com, a new e-commerce site for the Middle East in English and Arabic selling luxury ready-to-wear and accessories by global brands.

Discerning a niche in the digital e-commerce space for a luxury e-tailer with a product mix aimed at modern nomad such as herself, Khouri launched DIA-BOUTIQUE.com in 2010. The site delivers fresh fashion from independent luxury designers around the world to audiences across the globe.

Khouri frequently appears as a speaker on fashion, technology and business at leading educational establishments such as Harvard and INSEAD as well industry conferences.

Khouri is based in London where the DIA-style.com and DIA-BOUTIQUE.com are headquartered.

DIA-style.com is part of the DIA Group of digital fashion businesses headquartered in London and also comprises DIA-BOUTIQUE.COM.

    So refreshing to read about Arab accomplished women. They are just as pro-active and influential in society as other women around the world. It’s nice to move away from misconstrued and repressive images that mainstream media impose. Great work Marriam!
