Once upon a time modeling used to be about talent and who could wow a crowd! The era when it wasn’t about family status, fame nor amount of followers. Yes…the 90’s era was the real deal! The supermodel title was given based on your performance and the amount of shows you booked a season. Remember when Tyra Banks booked TWENTY-FIVE shows in just one season during PFW? Or when you were known for your signature walk, like Gisele Bundchen and Naomi Campbell? Unfortunately these days are over!!! In today’s modeling world you have a reality star like Kendall Jenner that people love to call a “supermodel” when she has the same expression in every ad campaign, or her bestie Gigi Hadid who walks the runway every single time as if it was her first. #GodHelpThem
Yup… You guessed it right; we’re having extreme nostalgia of the 90’s era and Victoria Secret’s OG angels! But most importantly we miss when VS models were given wings as reward for their hard work. So let’s take a walk back memory lane, and relive the moments the Most Iconic VS Angels made history:

During her time at Victoria’s Secret, she wore the Fantasy Bra twice, the Diamond Dream Bra in 1997 and the Heavenly 70 Fantasy Bra in 2004 that cost 10 Million Dollars and is still today ranked as . As number five “most expensive fantasy bra”.
2- Gisele Bundchen, the pioneer of the “horse walk”
Nowadays the Brazilian supermodel is known for being the highest paid model in the world, but back then she was known for inventing the “horse walk”, consisting of lifting the knee and kicking the feet out in front. Naomi walked the Victoria’s Secret fashion show from 1996 until 2005 but never achieved the Angel status.

She’s been a contract Victoria’s Secret Angel in 2000 and has walked alongside, Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bundchen.
